I welcome yo all to this valedictory function on behalf of our organising committee. It gives us great pleasure to submit a brief report of this championship. Along with our college (A.P) teams we participated in the 9th, National Tennis Volleyball Championship held at Pune from 01-05-2008 to 03-05-2008. During that Championship Dr. Wangwad, Secretary of T.V.F.I has requested to form the A.P.T.V.B (Andhra Pradesh Tennis Volleyball) Association. We formed it in the month of June. I requested our Dynamic Secretary to be the president of A.P. Tennis Volleyball Association. With sir’s consent we formed APTV Association. We have also advised the directors to form the district association. All districts are going to form their district associations. To popularize this new game in A.P we have conducted this championship here in Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh. 15 States participated in this championship in 3 age groups i.e. Senior Men and Women, Junior Boys and Girls and Sub-junior Boys and Girls. On 17-01-2009 our President who is kind enough to sponsor this Championship has inaugurated the meet. We have conducted this championship on league cum knockout basis using flood lights also. The organizing committee has arranged free boarding and lodging to the participants and officials.

Late Sri Nalla Saireddy Garu

20-01-2009 is the anniversary of late Sri. Nalla Saireddy Garu, father of our Secretary Sri. Nalla Malla Reddy Garu. We are awarding prizes to the winners and runners of this championship in memory of Late Sri. Nalla Saireddy Garu. In this championship 200 participants, including officials from all over the country participated.

On this auspicious occasion we have also brought out a Souvenir, which is going to be released by our chief gust Sri. G. Sudheer Babu, DCP, Cyberabad. I thank the federation for allotting this Championship to our A association. I also thank the State Secretaries who have taken lot of pains to make their sate teams participate in this Championship and I also thank the referees who have conducted the matches peacefully. Special thanks to our Management for sponsoring this Championship.
