At
the out set it gives great pleasure to present a brief report
of the JNTU ‘B’ Zone Tournament. Our management has
given this great opportunity of conducting the JNTU ‘B’
Zone Inter Collegiate Tournament from 18.10.2008 to 20.10.2008.
Which the JNTU sports council has allotted to our college. In
the JNTU ‘B’ Zone we have extended our invitation
to nearly about 120 colleges for their participation out of 120/35
colleges registered their entries in various events totally 750
students participated in this tournament.
28 teams in volleyball, 21 in basketball, 18 in throw
ball, 19 men and 16 women teams in badminton and 24 teams in table
tennis participated and exhibited their talents in disciplined
manner. We have conducted the tournament on knockouts basis. On
inaugural day our respected chair person Smt. Kethireddy Sandyavali
Garu has inaugurated the tournament.
In the history of JNTU ‘B’
Zone it is for the first time that our management has encouraged
to install trophies to the winners and runners of all the events.
We have also arranged transportation facilities to all the participants.
All the physical directors and management extended their whole
hearted cooperation in feeding their teams to make the prestigious
tournament a grand success. With the blessings of our management
and the able guidance of our principal we rendered our sincere
effort in conducting this tournament in systematic manner. All
the NMRIAN’s extended their cooperation in making this tournament
a grand success. Our management is flexible, sportive always advises
to come forward with healthy proposals. It request the JNTU sports
council to allot any event not only ‘B’ zone also
JNTU selections, State wide even all India level also we will
conduct with support of management.
