Faculty orientation programs are conducted for the faculty to enhance their technical knowledge to match the industry and for further research activity. The staff members publish research papers in various international conferences and journals. The students are also encouraged in presenting papers in various conferences and seminars. More than 60 students are presenting papers every semester.

The department has formed the following Research groups and started the research under a separate wing ie. Network security, Digital image processing, DMDW, Neural network.

Department of CSE is identifying various equipments and systems for modernization of labs. And is actively involved in identification of books for both Departmental library and the central library.
