The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, is one of the largest in the College in terms of the courses it offers. The intake of the students in the Under-Graduate programme has grown from 60 in 2001 to 120 in 2007. The Department has also commenced the M.Tech programme with VLSI Design as the specialization, from the academic year 2007 with an intake of 18 students. Currently the Department has a total strength of around 420 students including the PG, UG and lateral entry UG students. The Department also boasts of excellent Faculty members, all with a minimum of M.Tech qualification, several of them specialized in VLSI Design catering to both UG and PG programmes.
