Once inducted into the faculty of any department of this college, through the normal process of assessment and recruitment, each faculty member should be provided with adequate opportunities to sharpen his/her teaching skills by active participation in teaching and research activities, and through exposure to the latest happenings in his/her field of specialisation. CFDM was created to address these issues effectively.

A few months back, the Centre For Faculty Development And Management (CFDM), after researching NASSCOM reports, industry standards and having discussions with experts, decided to take some steps to implement active learning methods and help the students achieve thinking skills and knowledge for a successful career in the 21st Century.

The centre is headed by Dr. Uma Garimella who is an expert on teaching learning process and regularly conducts workshops for teachers and students through her Teacher’s Academy.
