A library is not
simply a collection of books. It is the repository
of knowledge stored in books and other sources of
information. Indeed it is the heart of an academic
institution.
Library is also
the access point for documents, artwork, CDs, DVDs
and books related to the Science and Technology.
The Library at
our College is well equipped which enjoys all the
facilities mentioned above. The ambience in the library
is congenial to cater to the needs of all readers
– students, researchers and faculty.
The library can
accommodate 170 readers at a time.This extended facility
was inaugurated by Prof. Suleman Siddiqi, the then
Vice-Chancellor Osmania University on 2nd December
2006.The library holds 14,750 volumes with approximately
2,243 titles in all disciplines.
The library also
subscribes to over 13 National, and International
journals, 21 Magazines, besides having a separate
newspapers section providing 13 Newspapers.
