The college has provided necessary facilities for games & sports for Boys and girls. A qualified and well trained physical Director has been appointed to conduct classes and train the students in all games and sports.

NMREC had launched a wide variety of sports and games activities to students to inculcate competitive spirit among the students.

Our college is endowed with full fledged equipment for playing different games and sports.

Sports facilities in NMREC are:
<> Separate indoor and out door games and sport’s arenas for
     boys & Girls.
<> Specialist Coaches for various games and sports.
<> A time table to coach students regularly.
<> A mini outdoor stadium for different activities.
<> An athletic track for track & field events.
<> Lighting arrangements for these indoor games & sports.
<> College teams are participating in inter collegiate and inter      university tournaments.
<> Flood light arrangement for outdoor games and sports.

A part from these, plans are about for the following things:-
<> Practicing equipment for cricket.
<> Lawn tennis court.
<> Snooker
<> Grace court for foot ball
<> Special coaching to players for participating in inter-collegiate      tournaments under JNTU.

                              Central Zone Tournament

JNTU has conducted "Central Zone Tournament" at JNTU, Kukatpally, Hyderabad from 12-3-2008 to 14-3-2008. Our college Athletics (Men & Women) and chess (Men & Women) teams participated in the tournament and bagged the following Medals.

Women Chess:
K. Nayana Rao, ECE – I Year has won the silver medal

Athletics Women:
Suchitha Reddy, IT – I Year has won the bronze medal in 100 mtrs and she has also won the “Third Fastest Women” award from JNTU.

Women team won bronze medal in 4X400 relay race
1. Suchitha Reddy, IT-I
2. Sushma Reddy, ECE-I
3. Sravya Reddy, CSE-I
4. Divya Teja Reddy, ECE-I

Athletic Men:
Our college Athlete Mr. K. Sai Dinakar Reddy, Mech-II has won the silver medal in 5000 mtrs race and he has also won the bronze medal in 1500 mtrs run.

4X100 mtrs relay race team has won the gold medal
1. Gokul Abishek, CSE-II
2. Revanth Reddy, CSE-III
3. Renthu Phillipose, Mech-II
4. Mahesh – MCA-II

4X400 mtrs relay race team has won the silver medal
1. K. Sai Dinaker Reddy, Mech-II
2. Revanth Reddy, CSE-II
3. Renthu Phillipose, Mech-II
4. Mahesh, MCA-II.


Congratulations...
The Volley Ball Faculty Team of our College won the Runners Up Shield in the Inter Collegiate Games Meet held on 27th & 28th December, 2006 at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science, Hyderabad.

The Members of the Team have also won the Individual Cups for their excellent performance.
