OUR VISION<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To create, globally competent mechanical engineers, capable of working, in an interdisciplinary environment to contribute to society, through innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership with professional ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUR MISSION<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

\u261b Produce Mechanical Engineers with a strong theoretical and practical knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b Enable to be productive members of interdisciplinary teams, capable of adapting to changing environments of engineering, technology and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b Inculcate critical thinking abilities among students and develop entrepreneurial skills, leadership qualities and innovative ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b Create facilities for continued education, training, research and consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b Produce engineers with high moral and ethical values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO1 : Engineering Knowledge<\/strong> : Apply the Knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO2 : Problem analysis<\/strong> : Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching, substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO3 : Design\/development of solutions<\/strong> : Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems<\/strong> : Use research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO5 : Modern tool usage<\/strong> : Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO6 : The engineer and society<\/strong> : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to access societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO7 : Environment and sustainability<\/strong> : Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of and need for sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO8 : Ethics<\/strong> : Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO9 : Individual and team work<\/strong> : Function effectively as an individual and as member or leader in diverse teams and in multidisciplinary settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO10 : Communication<\/strong> : Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations and give and receive clear instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261b PO11 : Project management and finance<\/strong> : Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to once own work as a member and leader in a team to manage projects and multidisciplinary environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
