B.Tech – Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is professional Engineering discipline that deals with economic development of a nation. It includes works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines and railways.

Dr.Y.Sudhakar Reddy

Professor & HoD

Dr.Y.Sudhakar Reddy has specialized in Water resources and remote sensing. He has completed five major research projects in the areas of Geotechnical investigations, recharge structures, remote sensing and GIS, environmental studies and groundwater resources. Apart from these major projects, he also handled many minor research projects and consultancy works. More than 35 research articles were published both in national and international journals. At present four research scholars are pursuing their research under him. He is the Editor of four textbooks. Dr.Y.Sudhakar Reddy former Professor at Osmania University.

Dr. E. V. Raghava Rao

Professor

He has 20 years teaching experience. He worked as HOD for a span of 18 years and 6 months.He has guided more than 25 UG projects and 13 PG projects. He obtained his M.E & PHD degree from Andhra university. He is member of institution of engineers (M.I.E) and member of Indian geotechnical society (M.I.G.S). He has published more than 35 papers in international journals. He has presented conference papers in IITS and reputed universities. He has also worked as I/C principal, vice-principal for more than 11 years.

Dr. S M A Mannan Hussain

Associate Professor

He has specialized in construction engineering and management. He has 3 years of Industrial experience and 9 years academic experience. He has published 40 research papers in national and International journals and conferences. He has guided more than 32 UG projects and 4 PG projects. He also appointed as one of the reviewer of reputed international journals of Taylor & Francis group and international journal of engineering research & technology. He is also appointed as honorary Editor board member-consulting editor recognized by innovative scientific research professional Malaysia, published scientific journals. He is also the life time member of ISTE of Indian society for technical education. He has also published a chapter in a textbook. He is also having the membership, fellow of the society of innovative educationalist & scientific research professional.

Dr.T. S. Ramesh Babu

Associate Professor

He has 9 years of experience and 11 years of Industrial experience as. He worked as asst. prof. for 5 years and HOD as 4 years. He is working as structural designer & adviser for academy of construction, madhapur from 10-06-2010. He is acting as co-supervisor for lovely professional university & annamalai university. Under his guidance M. Anitha is punching PHD from LPU & M. Sathish is punching PHD from annamalai university. He is doing research work in the area of natural admixtures, geopolymer concrete smart & sustained materials, self-compacted concrete and advanced construction materials. He has received young's engineer award from ultratech in 2013.

Mr. K. Ganesh Kumar

Associate Professor

Mr.K.Ganesh Kumar is having work experience of 35 years in surveying, planning, design and execution of Major, Medium, Minor and lift irrigation projects, He is also having overseas experience of execution of prefabricated multi-storied buildings, major water works and execution of sewerage treatment plants. With six years of teaching experience in various civil engineering subjects. He has guided six B.Tech projects.

Mr. M. Surendranath

Assistant Professor

Mr.M.Surendranath has done M.Tech with specialization in Transportation Engineering from IIT Guwahati. He is having 2 years teaching experience. His Research interests include Flexible pavement design, pavement evaluation and experimental investigations in finding optimum binder content.

Mr. Vishal Akula

Assistant Professor

Mr.Vishal Akula has done his M.E with specialization in Structural Engineering. He has published papers in International Conferences and his Research interests include Recycled aggregate concrete, Self compacting concrete, Design and analysis of Multi-storied buildings.

Ms. L. Shruthi

Assistant Professor

Ms.L.Shruthi has done with M.Tech with specialization in Infrastructure Engineering from JNTUH college of engineering. Published 2 papers in International Conferences and her Research interests include project scheduling, risk management in construction projects, construction materials, soil investigation and study of its properties.

Ms. Rudroju Himabindu

She has done B.Tech from S R Engineering College, Warangal and M.Tech from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science with the Specialization of STRUCTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING. And her Research interest is Concrete Technology

Mr. D. Sridhar

Assistant Professor

Mr.D.Sridhar has done his M.Tech with specialization in Environmental Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka. His research interests include Constructed Wetlands, using fly-ash waste as an fertilizer to reduce the pollution from fly-ash and also in solid waste management.
