Dr.T.V.S.M.R Bhushan

Associate Professor & HoD

Dr.T.V.S.M.R Bhushan has done M.Tech & Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Heat Transfer from JNTU Hyderabad. He is life member of ISTE, Institute of Engineers and SAE. He has 12 years of teaching and 2 years of Industry experience with 4 international and 1 national publications in reputed journals. Interested subjects include Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Instrumentation and Renewable energy Sources.

Dr.M N V Ramesh

Professor

Dr.M N V Ramesh obtained his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, Hyderabad in 2015 and M.Tech from University College of Engineering, Kakinada, JNTU, Hyderabad in 2003. He has more than 17 years of teaching, research and industrial experience. He has authored several research papers, which have been published in national and International journal as well as in proceedings of conferences in India and abroad. His research interests primarily on mathematics of finite elements, variation principles of mechanics, shear deformation and layer wise theories of laminated composite plates and shells and Functionally Graded Materials

Dr.S.Venkat Prasat

Professor

Dr.S.Venkat Prasat received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2012. He completed his M.E. degree in CAD/CAM from Kumaraguru College of Technology in 2006 and received his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Mookambigai College of Engineering in the year 1993. He has 21.5 years of teaching experience including 1.5 years of teaching experience in the Sultanate of Oman.He also has 1.5 years of industrial experience and has been actively involved in research for the past 11 years. He has handled courses on Solid Mechanics, Kinematics of Machinery, Dynamics of Machinery, Design of Machine Elements, Engineering Mechanics, Robotics, CAD/CAM, Total Quality Management and Engineering Graphics. His research interests include Metal Matrix Composites, Tribology, Machining and Materials Characterization.He has published his research papers in 14 International Journals and 9 Conferences.He is also a reviewer for 7 International Journals. He has served as a resource person in several Faculty Development Programmes and also has organized many Conferences and Workshops. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Dr.Shaik Magbul Hussain

Professor

He has passed Ph.D. in 2015,from JNTUH and having 20 years of teaching experience , prepared the curriculum for M. Tech HVAC(Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) for JNTUH, published 10 papers in International journal also author of text books for engineering graduates Mechanics of solids, Fluid mechanics and hydraulic machinery and IC engines.
Area of Interest, Internal Combustion Engines, Cryogenic Engineering, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermal Engineering Power Plant Engineering, Automobile Engineering.

Dr. A. Chandrashekhar

Associate Professor

He has obtained his PhD in Tribology from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. He has subsequently obtained his Master and Bachelor degrees from VTU Belagavi. He is life member of ISTE. He has 8 years of teaching and 2 years of Ethiopia teaching experience with 5 international publications in journals. Research interested of Dr. Chandrashekhar includes Thin film coatings, Wear and Friction and Material Science and Metallurgy.

Dr. Sujan Rao Nakkanti

Associate Professor

He leads the Design and Analysis labs, a researcher with an interdisciplinary focus on dynamic instabilities and waves of fluid flow induced system design and honoured Doctorate from Osmania University. His research area includes fundamentals of physical mechanisms shaping the transmission dynamics of fluid flows, flow induced vibrations, predictive process simulation, defects, system design and modelling, including techno economic analysis. He contributed the development of mathematical modelling and experimental test rig for piping expansion joint. The design and analysis have a strong focus on education and community building and is involved in international research presentations in International Mechanical Engineering congress & Exposition (ASME), USA, CA, San Diego and among others.

Dr. Nirupama Patra

Associate Professor

She has specialized in Heat transfer and fluid flow. She has 5 years of teaching experience. she has acquired her M Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur in thermal engineering and PhD degree from IIT( BHU), Varanasi. She has published papers in SCI journals, Scopus indexed journals and other reputed journals. She has presented papers in international and national conferences.

Mr.S.Bhanoji Rao

M.Tech from IIT Madras, Worked with various industries (Lakshmi machine works, Hyderabad Allwyn, GKW Steels, HBL Limited) for 26 years and has teaching experience in engineering college for 15 years. Interested Subjects are engineering drawing, engineering metrology, manufacturing processes, renewable energy sources.

Mr.P.Ramesh Babu

M.Tech from JNTUH, Worked in electronic corporation of India limited (ECIL) for 39.5 years and teaching experience in engineering college for 7 years. Interested Subjects are Metallurgy and Material Sciences, Fluid Mechanics and hydraulic machines, Strength of materials, Machine Tools, Manufacturing Processes. Qualified by faculty eligibility test conducted by JNTUH. Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)

Mr.M.Ranga Rao

Associate Professor

M.Tech from JNTUH, with specialization in Production Engineering. Had 40 years of industrial experience in companies like ECIL, APEDC, India Rubber Ltd, SAMKRG, Pistons Ltd, and VELJAN HYDRAIR Ltd. Having 2 years of teaching experience in engineering college. Interested subjects are Manufacturing Processes, Machine tool technology, Production Planning and control, Strength of Materials, and Machine Design.

Dr. Asit Kumar Parida

Associate Professor

Dr. Asit Kumar Parida has obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering Department with Specialization in Production Engineering from NIT Rourkela Odisha. He is life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Additive Manufacturing Society of India (AMSI), Indian Institute of Metal (IIM), Association of Mechanism and Machine (AMM) and Indian Welding Society (AWS). He has 1 year of teaching and 2 years of postdoctoral experience with 17 international journals and 1 book chapter publication. Interested subjects include Machining and Machine Tool, and Manufacturing Processes. His primary research interest on machining of difficult to cut materials, texturing, finite element modeling, optimization and sustainable manufacturing processes.

Subjects taught include Power plant engineering, Thermodynamics. Thermal engineering, Production planning and control, Plant layout and material handling, Engineering graphics, Engineering mechanics at the graduate level and ‘Flexible manufacturing systems’ and ‘Precision engineering at the postgraduate level. Mr. K. Rakesh Kumar
