The Career Guidance & Placement Office (CGPO) at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College (NMREC) is committed to helping students make informed career decisions, prepare for their chosen pathways, and connect with meaningful opportunities. The CGPO connects academic learning with career aspirations and industry expectations, supporting students throughout their academic journey.

The CGPO works with students, faculty, industry professionals, alumni, recruiters and external experts to provide a comprehensive career development ecosystem. Its initiatives include career counselling, pathway guidance, skill development, internships, industry exposure, training programmes, workshops, expert interactions, certifications, and placement preparation, enabling students to understand the professional landscape and make purposeful career choices.

Career development at NMREC begins from the early years of engineering. Students are encouraged to understand their interests, strengths, aspirations, and career goals and explore suitable pathways across IT, core engineering, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, data analytics, manufacturing, higher education, government careers, and entrepreneurship. Through early guidance, students can develop greater clarity about their goals and plan their academic and professional journey accordingly. Once students identify their career direction, the CGPO supports them in building the skills required to pursue it and reach their goal.
