Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program to University of Cordoba, Spain

As a Final year student of Computer Science and Engineering at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College, Divya Nagar, Hyderabad, my academic journey took an exciting turn when I embarked on an Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program to University of Cordoba, Spain. This Fully-funded program, facilitated by the collaboration between my home institute Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College and the host institute University of Cordoba, opened doors to a world of opportunities and cultural exploration.Arriving at the campus Rabanales of University of Cordoba, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere and a diverse community of students from all over the world. The professors are known for their friendly manner, ensuring that the language barrier did not affect my learning experience. Despite the predominant use of Spanish, my selected courses in Metaheuristic, Legislation and Standardization, and a Bachelor Thesis on Automatic Machine Learning Workflow Composition with PoneyGE2 were all conducted in English. I have not confined myself to the classroom but also had the privilege to immerse myself in the cultural heritage of  Spain, exploring the enchanting cities and forging friendships with people from different backgrounds. The only challenge I faced was the language barrier when interacting with the local community, but also it served me to embrace a new language and culture.I look forward to completing my courses and examinations and get the certificate of completion from the University of Cordoba. This certificate will not only validate my academic achievements but also serve as a stepping stone in my career journey. Moreover, my Erasmus+ experience has been a transformative journey of both personality and academic growth. It has broadened my horizons, enriched my understanding of different cultures. Through programs like Erasmus+, the European Union continues to pave the way for students like me to embark on life-changing experiences, fostering cross-cultural understanding and international collaboration. My journey at University of Cordoba is a testament to the power of education to transcend boundaries and unite individuals from diverse backgrounds in pursuit of knowledge and respect. This experience was possible only in my college NMREC.

Internship at IIT Hyderabad

I, K. Radha Rani Neha, currently in my final semester of my fourth year, pursuing a degree in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. I recently secured a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad. This report outlines the selection process and provides insights into the nature of the internship. The journey to securing this internship began with a selection process at our college. Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College provides students with opportunities to participate in such programs. At the college level, they reviewed the performances of all students over four years of laboratory work in our bachelor’s program. From there, 20 students, including myself, were selected to proceed to the next round. The second stage involved a written technical test held at Swecha office in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. I, along with  50 other students from various colleges across Hyderabad, took part in this exam.

This written test assessed our foundational knowledge in computer science, algorithms, and data structures. Following the written test, the final stage was an interview that evaluated our programming skills, analytical skills, and communication abilities. The interview was competitive and thorough, focusing on our ability to solve problems, understand complex scenarios, and articulate our thoughts clearly. After successfully completing all the stages, I received an offer letter from IIT Hyderabad on January 2nd for a 6-month research internship under Professor Antony Franklin. I was thrilled to start this new chapter in my academic journey.

I am grateful for the support and guidance from my college NMREC, Swecha Hyderabad, IIT Hyderabad, and Professor Antony Franklin, which has enabled me to embark on this exciting internship. I look forward to contributing to the success of this project and expanding my skills in the process.
