Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. Being the only national organisation of educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE effectively contributes in various missions of the Union Government. The strength of ISTE is the strong base it has in technical education institutions in the country.
ISTE is actively involved in many activities conducted by All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi (AICTE) and National Board of Accreditation New Delhi (NBA). Recently ISTE was partner to AICTE and NBA in the conduct of Second Chhatra Vishwakarma Award and WOSA 2018 respectively.

Paper Presentation 2.0

A Paper Presentation Competition was organized by ISTE NMREC Student Chapter on 6th May 2021. The event was jointly coordinated by ISTE NMREC Student body members under the mentorship of Student Chapter Coordinator J Bala Anasuya. Due to the covid crisis at that time , the event was held online on the google meet platform. It took place from 4:30 pm to 7pm with almost 20 groups participating in the event.
The event had students from different branches participating to show their inherent skills and talents. Each branch was proposed a topic on which the students were supposed to make their presentations. The students of CSE were proposed ‘AI integration in Pandemic Management’ , ECE -5G Wireless Technology, Mech- Design of Machine Elements, Civil- Roads and Concrete Materials. The participants proposed many different solutions. Dr G Bhoopal Rao sir from ECE Department and E V Raghava Rao sir from Civil Department judged the event.
The event started at around 4:15 pm. The Treasurer of ISTE, A Sai Preethi welcomed the Director, Principal , faculty and all the attendees of the event. She also extended her gratitude towards the participants for lending a hand in making efforts to rise their spirits in difficult times.
The event was then continued by the Vice President of ISTE, Vaishnavi K who spoke a few words on ISTE. In her brief introduction to ISTE Vaishnavi spoke about its origin and its reach throughout the country. The main motto of ISTE is career development of teachers ,personality development of students and overall development of our technical education system. It is a professional non profit making society for the technical education system in our country and has almost more than 1,00,00 technical teachers, 6,00,000 student members and 3000 intitutional members across India.
The Chairman of ISTE, Sai Charan , introduced the student body members and the student chapter coordinator to the audience.
Director mam, Dr Divya Nalla Garu congratulated all the student body members and encouraged them to conduct more such creative events in the future. She also wished all the participants and declared the competition open.
Principal sir, Dr MNV Ramesh sir encouraged all the participants to grab such opportunities in the future too and wished them all the best.
The competition started with the coordinator of ISTE, Taruni announcing the names of the participants to present their presentations. The presentations by the students of Civil followed by Mech, CSE and ECE. The participants were given the time limit of 5-7 mins to complete their presentations and were also asked few questions from the judges panel. The presentations were very informative and all the students participated with enthusiasm and also showed their creativity and presentation skills.
The event ended with Sathwika, the coordinator of ISTE Student Chapter thanked all the judges and the participants for making the event successful and wished for such good participation even in the future events conducted by ISTE.
