Under Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, NMREC has adopted 5 villages and joined at May -2, 2018 in UBA PI and actively participating in the developmental activities of the below listed adopted villages.

Students observed some of the problems which are being faced by the villagers in their survey. Due to improper drainage system, mosquitoes bred and caused many health problems. Some times they become fatal also. Dengue, Malaria, Chikangunia and (elephantiasis)filariasis are some of the dreaded diseases caused by mosquitoes. Unfortunately, due to human negligence or lack of awareness, this year Dengue took many lives in the villages.
Volunteers has visited the adopted villages and conducted awareness campaigns. Some of them conducted door to door campaign on hygiene, in and around their homes. As our children are future nation builders, school level campaigns were also conducted. Students volunteers explained the importance of keeping surroundings clean and tidy. In this aspect, volunteers conducted Swacch Bharath in the villages along with elders and school children. Everyone knew that proper foundation has to be laid in the early schooling of the child in pre-primary level itself.
In this aspect Nalla Malla Reddy Publications Private Limited, (a sister concern to this PI) a publishing house with social concern, and believes in particularly education- the core of the human civilization, catalyst for advancement, progress and prosperity of a nation and the world at large, distributed “AKSHARABHYAS” Kits in the schools of adopted villages which emphasizes on the good hand writing and language improvement. Good handwriting will improve the academic performance of the students. Elders of the Villages has appreciated the PI for the initiation taken and for the act of kindness towards the students of government schools.
During the SWATCH BHARATH campaign, planting of saplings was one of the main events. Volunteers conducted awareness campaign on planting of tree saplings and its importance in the present day scenario. As today’s world is filled with pollution and deforestation is taking place every where, tree plantation is very much necessary
