Industry Institute coordination Cell

The Industry Institute Coordination Cell (IICC) of the college was established in 2008 it aims to bridge the gap between the Institute and the Industry. Industry Institute Research Meets are organized annually to showcase the institutional research and establish collaborations with the industry.

Students are taken to industrial visits regularly to industries related to the courses being studied by them. Through these Industrial visits students can understand the work culture, the technological advancements, and the expectations of industry. Virtual Industrial visits were also conducted during the pandemic.

Consultancy works are taken up by the departments in areas related to their expertise. Industries and the subject experts are mapped by the IICC of the institute.

Another important function of the IICC is to provide internships to students. The students of the college are required to do mandatory internships to gain academic credits. Industry inputs in the Curriculum are ensured by including industry experts in the Boards of Studies of all the departments.

Many industries look out for student interns, and the students are in search of internships that can hone their skills. The placement cell of the institute and the IICC of the Institute work together on providing Internship opportunities to the students.

IICC conducts regular interactions of industry experts with the students of the institute in the form of guest lectures and workshops in advanced technologies. Alumni of the institute also form an important part of this interaction. Alumni working in industry are invited specially to interact with their juniors to guide them.
