Swecha Student Body
SWECHA is a social movement that works towards enlightening the masses with the essence of free software and to liberate knowledge to the commoners. This organization aims at providing global software solutions to the local people with the Free Software development model by working together with the community of developers and users all over.
- An Internship Programme from 27th May -25th June 2018, was organized by SWECHA in Free software/Open Hardware technologies and worked on projects showcased in the link code.swecha.org/sodata/ at MLRIT, Dundigal.
- A session on Technology Trends was conducted at NMREC by swecha.
- A five day IndustryOriented Residential Program (winter camp) was held from January 4th -8th January 2019, at Sree Dattha Engineering College. Around 40 students from various engineering colleges attended this camp. There were mainly three tracks running collaterally named IOT, Data science and AR & VR.
- A Session on HTML and CSS was given by M.Vivek of CSE III B on 11th January 2019 at MGIT.
- Swecha conducts weekly sessions on various Trending technologies on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at NMREC. The first technical Sunday was conducted on 10th February 2019. The Session was on the basics of python and demonstration of BALA SWECHA operating system. The second technical Sunday was conducted on 24th February 2019. The session was started with the importance of machine learning and its usage in real life. There after it went on with the classification techniques of machine learning. The third technical Sunday was conducted on 03rd March 2019. The session was on the machine learning tool “ORANGE”. Initially speaker gave a clear demonstration about the tool. There after all the participants were made to install the tool in their laptops and had hands on. The fourth technical Sunday was conducted on 10th March 2019. The session was on the machine learning tool “KERAS”. Around 30 Students from various colleges attended the session.
