Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College community eagerly await the annual Techfest . This year, Techfest 2024 was held on the 20th and 21st March 2024. The theme for the fest was “Sustainability and Climate Change” reflecting our commitment to addressing global challenges through innovative engineering solutions.
The Techfest of Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College serves as a platform for students, faculty, and industry experts to converge, exchange ideas, and showcase groundbreaking innovations. Our tech fest promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration.
The expertise and insights of the distinguished guest for the inauguration, Prof.S.C.Bhargava, have greatly enriched the event, particularly in the context of our sustainability theme.
The fest involved activities of all the departments with each department conducting special events specific to their branch of soecialisation. Techfest was a culmination of 8 events with each event having multiple events including paper presentations, poster presentations, competitions, projects displays, etc.
The ECE Department conducted their fest CIHAN. The department of CSE conducted MEDHAS. The event AAKRUTHI was conducted by Civil Engineering Department. The Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Department conducted YUKTHI. The Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Department conducted ADVITIYA. PRAVAAHA was conducted by the EEE Department. Mechanical Engineering department conducted SAMBHAVAAT. MBA Department conducted its events under the banner of SHODHANA.
The students of all the departments were seriously involved in meticulously planning and executing the events. Each department had bouquets of events and competitions lined up making it a difficult choice for the visitors to decide which ones to participate in.
Participation in the fest provided the students with invaluable perspectives, ignited discussions, and inspired our students to become agents of change in building a sustainable future.
This year’s Techfest has a lasting impact on NMREC community, fostering a culture of sustainability and responsible engineering practices enabling NMREC fraternity to embark on a transformative journey towards a sustainable future.
