Director’s Profile

Dr.Divya Nalla is currently the Director of Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. Prior to this, she worked as the Principal of the same college. She has done her PhD in Computer Science from University of Hyderabad, MPhil from HCU, and MSc in Pure Mathematics from Osmania University

She has done her post-doctoral research from the School of Information Systems of Singapore Management University. She has published her research work in the fields of Information Security, Cryptography, and Engineering Education. She also served as Program Committee Member, reviewer, and chaired sessions in international conferences in Computer Science and Engineering Education. She has been a speaker in multiple National and international forums including IISC. She is currently Chairing the Academic Council and is responsible for framing and implementation of curricular reforms in the institution. Her research also resulted in a Utility patent.

Faculty training, designing of teaching learning processes, taking Engineering Education Research to implementation in the classroom, and experimenting with methods to improve quality in engineering education have been her areas of interest and she have been working on these for more than a decade. She could successfully implement internationalisation in her institution leading to project funding at international level, and collaborations with international universities.

She was presented with Institutional Leadership award and award for leading the Best Teaching Learning Center by Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education. She is also the recipient of Women in Education Award presented under Dewang Mehta National Education Awards.
