Innovative Teaching Method – E-Bridge Activity

Employability Bridge (E-Bridge)

E-Bridge is a forum, under which events will be conducted regularly to bridge the employability gap and build technical as well as soft skills in our graduating students.

Four different events shall be conducted under the E-Bridge program.

  • Group Discussion: for one group (10 students) on a topic to be decided by the faculty. The topic should be related to the subject being taught. The event shall last for 15 minutes including the feedback by the moderator. (The faculty shall act
as the moderator and student volunteers may be taken for coordination).

  • Quiz: for two groups on the subject being taught. The two groups may be asked questions by a quiz master (the faculty or student volunteers – if students are conducting the quiz the questions must be scrutinized by the faculty before hand),
or one group may pose questions to the other group and vice versa.

  • 2-minute Elevator Pitch: for one group of students. Each group shall be given topics relevant to the subject atleast a few days before the event, on which each of the student has to prepare in advance and convince the audience about the topic in a maximum of 2 minutes.

  • Case Study Presentation: This is a group effort in which the Group will research and compile information about a project or product as a case study. They Highlight some challenges faced in the project/product, successes, failures, lessons learnt, what could have been done better.
