IUCEE Student Chapter – NMREC

The IUCEE Annual Student Forum (IASF) 2025 provided an opportunity for engineering students across the nation to collaborate, innovate, and develop solutions to real-world challenges using engineering and technology. 30 students from Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College IUCEE Student Chapter actively participated in the event and presented three projects.
Different type student workshops such as Transforming Engineering Education: The Role of AI, Addressing Industry 4.0 Problems using AI and ML (Part 1) Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities Social Emotional Learning (SEL) were conducted. IUCEE Student Chapter coordinated the participation of NMREC students in IASF 2025.

A total of 30 students from Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College actively participated in the event out of which 9 students presented projects.
Three Student Project showcased by our students at IASF 2025 namely
- Wearable device for early stroke detection
- Access easy: Real-Time public transit navigation for accessibility
- Loco-Lock.
Our students have learnt how to do a good project, from the expo of over 130 student projects displayed. They attended the workshops conducted by international and industry experts which were focused on the areas like AI, ML, IoT, Sustainability, Design Thinking, and Social Emotional Learning. They also attended special sessions on empowering students towards leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovative thinking. They got an idea of networking opportunity with prominent researchers, educators, and industry professionals.
The key takeaways of our students were enhanced understanding of artificial intelligence, IoT applications, sustainability challenges, and emotional intelligence, practical exposure to real-world engineering problems and solution-building through design thinking. development of leadership, teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and critical thinking skills, broadened perspectives on global engineering education trends and innovative teaching methodologies.
It was a rewarding experience for students from our college and was an excellent platform to enhance technical skills, particularly in AI, ML, IoT, and sustainability, while also developing leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. The workshops and project showcase allowed our students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, fostering innovation and critical thinking. Networking with experts and peers further broadened perspectives on global engineering trends. Overall, the event not only boosted our students’ technical competencies but also emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership in shaping future engineers.
