Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College ( NMREC) , Hyderabad, and IUPUI – Indiana University Purdue University Indiana polis, signed an MoU that would help students obtain international BA and MA degrees from IUPUI, USA. This is a unique opportunity for the students who wants to study abroad and the quality of education at NMREC with the curricular reforms under autonomy enabled these agreements.
A unique MOU has been signed between Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad, and IUPUI, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. The MOU provides the students of Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College with a unique opportunity to obtain International Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, USA.
The Director of the college mentioned that Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College is the only college in the state to have such agreements and it is a unique opportunity for the students of Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. She added that the quality of education at NMREC with the curricular reforms under Autonomy enabled these agreements.
The Senior Executive Associate Dean & Professor of Informatics, Indiana University School of Informatics & Computing, Indianapolis, Dr. Mathew Palakal during the MOU exchange explained about research at IUPUI and the opportunities for NMREC students at IUPUI including MS in Human Computer Interaction, Bio Informatics,Applied Data Science.
With this agreement, the students of NMREC will be able to start the MS programs at IUPUI, USA, during their B.Tech final year.
Purdue School of Engineering and School of Science, Indiana School of Computing and Informatics at IUPUI provide oppotunities for NMREC students to pursue 2+2 programs and Accelerated Masters programs. In the 2+2 programs, NMREC students can pursue 2 years of their B.Tech program at NMREC and the remaining 2 years at IUPUI and obtain a BS degree from Purdue University or Indiana University. The accelerated Masters programs can be taken up by NMREC students during their final year to complete their B.Tech from NMREC and MS from Purdue University / Indiana University in 5 years.
