His areas of specialization encompass Tribology, Surface Engineering, Thin Film Coatings, Materials Characterization, Additive Manufacturing, and Composite Materials. Throughout his professional career, he has held significant academic and administrative responsibilities, notably serving as an Associate Professor and Project Supervisor, where he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in teaching, student mentorship, curriculum delivery, and research supervision. He possesses extensive experience in instructing undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses, guiding innovative student projects, and conducting advanced research in wear mechanisms, coating technologies, and emerging material systems. His technical proficiency includes sophisticated material testing and characterization techniques related to tribological evaluation and surface analysis. Dr. Chandrashekhar A. has made valuable scholarly contributions through numerous publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences, particularly in the domains of tribological behaviour, coating adhesion, composite material development, and additive manufacturing technologies

Dr. S. Ramesh Babu is a highly accomplished academician, researcher, and innovation- driven mechanical engineering professional with nearly three decades of multidisciplinary experience in advanced mechanical systems, vibration analysis and control, computer-aided engineering, robotics, and product development. His core research expertise encompasses spur gear vibration dynamics, rotor-dynamic analysis, finite element modelling, and polymer composite behaviour under dynamic loading. He earned his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University with a specialized research focus on the influence of material and geometric parameters on spur gear vibration characteristics. His academic and industrial contributions are further strengthened by extensive proficiency in advanced CAE and simulation platforms including ANSYS Workbench,Pro-Mechanica, and CREO, combined with successful execution of funded international research projects under UNDP sponsorship in advanced composite materials and structural vibration applications. As an active researcher and reviewer for reputed international journals in vibration, acoustics, and nonlinear dynamics, he has published research articles in high-impact SCOPUS- indexed journals.
