Dr. Reshmi R. Nair is a distinguished academician, researcher, and certified International Engineering Educator (Ing. Paed. IGIP) with significant experience in higher education, research, and academic administration. She currently serves as the Head of the Department – First Year M&PS and Associate Professor of Chemistry at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad. She earned her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Kurukshetra University and has made notable research contributions in the fields of organic synthesis and heterocyclic chemistry through publications in reputed international journals. Her academic and research interests include Engineering Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and innovative teaching methodologies in engineering education. She has actively contributed to curriculum design, faculty development initiatives, AI-enabled teaching practices, and research mentoring through esteemed academic platforms such as IUCEE and IGIP. In addition, she serves as a reviewer for international conferences and has been honored with the IUCEE Teaching and Learning Award for her contributions to teaching excellence, educational innovation, and transformative engineering education.
Uzma Nausheen Head, Department of English Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. She holds an M.A. in English Literature with a specialization in American Literature from Osmania University. A passionate educator with over 10 years of experience teaching English in an engineering environment, she believes that clear, confident communication is fundamental to engineering excellence. Leading the Department of English since January 2023, she drives curriculum design for additional language courses, conducts faculty development programs in language proficiency, and mentors final-year students for interviews and campus placements. Her key strengths lie in communication and leadership, curriculum innovation, faculty training, student mentoring, event management, and technical communication for engineers. She regularly hosts and organizes college-level literary and cultural events to foster real-world communication skills. With a focus on bridging the gap between language skills and professional requirements, she is committed to equipping every student with the proficiency and confidence to lead, present, and succeed in their engineering careers.
